About Us
SEE THE SEA select & resort is a cafe & select shop on the 4th floor (#41) of Senagajima Umikaji Terrace, Okinawa, founded on February 22, 2022. The owner has spent over 20 years in apparel OEM, sharpening an eye for materials and quality, and now brings that craft to both fashion (select) and food (cafe). Signature menu items include the Chura Banana Smoothie, Special Taco Rice, and Handmade Beniimo Tacos. The all-day menu — focused on Okinawa-sourced ingredients with plant-based and gluten-free options — runs from 11:00 to 21:00 (last order 20:30, open year-round except in severe weather). About 15 minutes by car from Naha Airport, with around 700 free parking spaces on the island.
Our Founding Story
On the 4th floor of Senagajima Umikaji Terrace, in suite #41, SEE THE SEA select & resort opened its doors on February 22, 2022. Our founder spent over 20 years in apparel OEM manufacturing, refining an eye for materials and craftsmanship. From that long dedication grew a wish — that there might be a space in town where everyday choices are arranged just a little more thoughtfully — and so we launched as a hybrid store handling both apparel (select) and food (café).
The reason we chose Senagajima in Okinawa is clear. The island sits as a milestone in any journey, about 15 minutes by car from Naha Airport, and from the 4th floor of Umikaji Terrace, you can take in sky, sea, and runway in one sweep. Visitors and locals. Apparel and cuisine. A place where all of these intersect — here, we felt, the experience we wanted to share could breathe most freely.

Okinawan Ingredients, First and Foremost
Chura banana, beniimo (purple sweet potato), island vegetables, island tofu, sea grapes, and mozuku seaweed — we build our menu around ingredients raised by Okinawan soil and sea. Long-term relationships with local producers support both the flavor and the meaning of our cuisine.

Plant-Based & Gluten-Free Options
Religious considerations, allergies, health, beliefs — there are many reasons why people choose what they eat. We offer items marked with VEGAN, PB (plant-based), and GF (gluten-free) badges on the same menu, throughout the day, so that more people can share the same table.

Apparel and Food, One Discerning Eye
We bring the material-selection standards developed on the apparel OEM floor straight into our select shop sourcing — long-wearing garments, fabrics that feel kind to the skin, and silhouettes built for Okinawa's climate. When the way you choose your clothes shifts, we believe, the way you choose your food shifts too.

We've adopted an "all-day same menu" so guests can choose any dish at any time, free from lunchtime or dinnertime constraints. May this be a place where families weary from their journey can comfortably take a seat.

- Rolled out English, Chinese, and Korean pages in succession, building out a four-language information system so that international visitors can plan their visit with confidence.
